Solid Surfacing
When you need a high quality durable and easily maintained surface, solid surfacing is the answer.
Versatile – solid surfacing offers flexible working, and can be fabricated, thermoformed and joined with invisible seams to offer the solution to almost any design problem. The superior workability allows you to complete simple constructions as well as more diverse and original designs.
Choice – available in numerous colours, you can create the desired atmosphere in your space, whether you require comfort, tranquillity, beauty or warmth. The surfaces are available in 3mm to 13mm thick.
Resistant – solid surfacing is non-porous, making it highly resistant to water, pollutants, food absorption and bacteria.
Solid surfacing can be used for vanity tops, shower partitions, shower walls, kitchen tops, bars and counters.

Fabrication
Excalibur Design specialises in laminate fabrication. We undertake fabrication work to your individual specifications, from one-off designs to mass-produced items for larger contracts.
We can work to your drawings, or we can help design and deliver bespoke items to your requirements.
The laminate we use is selected for its durability, design features, construction versatility and ease of maintenance. Applications include offices, airports, hospitals, schools, restaurants, hotels and retail outlets.
Flat Bonding & Post Forming
Flat Bonding – we can produce flat boards in the laminate of your choice, ready to be cut and shaped as required. Our specialist machinery is manned by experienced staff that will provide a perfect flat bonding service to fulfil your requirements.
Post Forming – we have many years experience in this area. Whatever your design demands, we have the expertise and knowledge to provide an exemplary post forming service. Using tried and tested procedures, we can laminate many surfaces and shapes to guarantee an impressive looking and long lasting finish.
Flat bonding and post forming are suitable for vanity units, display units, desk-units and reception counters.

Cubicles
Cubicles – Whatever you require from a cubicle system, Excalibur Design can provide the perfect solution. We have worked with and completed projects for many of the biggest companies and institutions in the South East including American Express, Safeway, Reading University, as well as many schools, colleges and businesses. We have the skill and capability to successfully complete your job to any size and specification as required.
Choice – Depending on the final application, we can manufacture your cubicle system in one of three materials. For low traffic areas we use 19mm MR melamine faced chipboard, available in a range of colours. For areas requiring a more durable solution, we provide 18mm MR MDF finished with 0.9 laminate to both side, available in a wider range of colours and finishes. When you need a more hardwearing finish for wet areas, we can build solid laminate compact cubicles to provide the strength and durability required.
The stylish design, combined with strong framework and panels, makes the system extremely robust and suitable for all wet or dry public environments. With the addition of post-formed pilasters, vanity units, light pelmets and duct panels, you can turn a basic washroom into an attractive and functional area.
